Today live from Golfmässan in Malmö – one of the most important annual platforms for the Swedish golf industry. The two show days are hosted by the Swedish golf industry association, Golf & Co.
More than 40 brands are showcasing next season’s news, both apparel and hardware. And Golfmässan is definitely attracting attention from the golf business professionals. Golf in Sweden has been growing continuously since 2013, now attracting almost half a million active members.
Despite the recent years overall decline of active golf members in Europe (since the record year 2009), fresh figures indicates that golf is stabilizing and soon even grow in popularity. More than 50% of the European golf market can be found in the five most established golf nations; Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands and Sweden.
