In the light of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), which will enter into force on 25 May 2018, we would like to provide you with some information about the data we process so that we are able to communicate with you.

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, for example when you participate as an exhibitor or visit one of our events, or when you subscribe to our newsletters or ask us to send them to you, or when you communicate with us via email or other channels in order to register for an event. The information we collect includes your name, the company where you work, company postal address, job title, email and industry sector.
In some cases, your personal data may have been supplemented with information from other sources regarding your professional role. These sources may include searches through publicly available search engines, and your employer’s website. Based on such information we may have judged a particular event to be of interest.
How we use the data we collect and store
We use the personal information we collect to:
• Send you newsletters, invitations and information about our events; and
• Keep track of exhibitors who participated at different events.
We do not sell, rent out, distribute or otherwise make your personal data available to any third party. However, we may share information with our suppliers for the purposes listed below.
Reasons for using your personal information
When we process personal information for the purposes explained in this notice, we do so because of our legitimate interests in maintaining business relationships and communicating with you, as a business contact, about our operations and events. We consider that our legitimate interests abide by the law and the legal rights and freedoms of our business contacts.
How we may share the information we collect
Only those persons who need to process personal data for the purposes mentioned above have access to your personal data.
We may need to share your personal information with our suppliers, such as printers and external organizers of the trade fairs and conferences that you attend. We may also need to allow our suppliers and sub-contractors to access your personal information when performing services on our behalf, primarily to maintain and support our IT systems.
Storage
Your personal data will be saved for the specified purposes mentioned above for as long as you continue to participate in our events in your professional capacity, or so long as we have grounds for believing that you are a potential participant in such events. You may at any time choose to unsubscribe and should you choose to do so, we will cease processing data for the purposes mentioned above and remove your personal data from our records.
Security
We employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to help protect your personal data against loss and to guard against access by unauthorized persons. We regularly review our security policies and procedures to ensure our systems are secure and protected.
Your choices and rights
Your inquiries and comments are always welcome. You have the right to know what personal information we process about you and may request a copy. You are also entitled to have incorrect personal information about you corrected and you may in some cases ask us to delete your personal data. Please note that the limitation or deletion of your personal information may mean that we will be unable to provide the communications and invitations described above.

If you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you have the right to report this to the Swedish Data Inspection Board, which is the regulator for our processing of personal data.
